Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Underpass Park Farmers Market (UPFM)! We welcome youths and adults who would like to be part of an exciting local food community. The market’s mission is to connect the community with great local food and more than ever, to support small businesses and local agriculture.
Communities are built by a group of people who share common attributes and we consider our volunteers to be the pillars of our market. As volunteers at UPFM, your hard work and dedication, along with your positive attitude, will provide an organized, safe and inclusive urban farmers market.
Underpass Market operates every Thursday from the last week of May to mid-October. We are seeking volunteers and extra support for the following roles:
- Event/Parking Attendant
- Set-up/Tear-down Crew
- Games Attendant/Vendor Brakes
- Social Media
All roles are an essential part of helping transform an empty urban park into a safe and fun marketplace. For additional information, review our Volunteer Roles!
The UPFM operates from 4pm – 7:30pm, rain or shine!
Where: 29 Lower River St.
Please note, students looking to obtain volunteer hours must commit a minimum of 9 hours (approx. 3 shifts) to obtain documentation.
